The yoga Co-op is about group organization and the collective effort to bring yogis and yoginis of many different styles and backgrounds together. Making multiple studios available to a yogi of diverse interests, cross training with different styles of yoga, making yoga more accessible to individuals.

Founder: Kamala Rose

When she’s not doing yoga, Kamala Rose enjoys traveling, writing and helping promote green practices of home buying and restoration. Before and during learning to teach yoga, Rose worked as an IATSE stagehand, a waitress, a technical writer at an international billing software company, a grant writer, web designer, movie theater usher in high school, limousine driver in college, a legal secretary, a videographer, a TEFL English Teacher in Italy and as a researcher at a children’s psychiatric hospital in Florida. Her studies in Yoga are equally diverse and interesting. Ashtanga is the foundation of her practice and she loves poses and heat of Bikram and creative exploration of asanas that a varied practice provides. Having been exposed to many variations and forms, from asanas to meditation-based.
